DAVID JONES now has MOORE to offer!

Gregory Moore stars at the opening festivities for DAVID JONES new Bourke Street store in Melbourne

After hearing the new album I've Dreamed of You, Management of David Jones were thrilled with what Gregory Moore has to offer and have picked up the album so it is now available at David Jones stores nationally.  But David Jones decided they wanted more of Moore, and so Gregory was asked to perform at a very special David Jones event.

August 10th saw the official unveiling of David Jones new flag ship store in Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne  after the completion of its new $90 million renovation. Sure to change the face of retailing in Australia, this store is breathtaking.

Gregory performed at a special breakfast event in the store for the new CEO and over 200 enthralled staff.  David Jones's own Megan Gale was also in attendance as MC for this special event and after hearing Gregory perform commented, "gee you've got a good set of pipes on you there Greg!"

Later that evening  Gregory also performed  at an exclusive David Jones VIP customer  in-store event performing songs from his new album  I've Dreamed of You and signing CD's and posters while customers enjoyed champagne and shopping! 

The night was a huge success and David Jones are already planning more events with Gregory so he could be coming to a David Jones store near you soon!
 

Australian's all let us rejoice!

On Sunday August 8th, Gregory was invited to sing the National Anthem at the Official Liberal / National Party Campaign Launch at the QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane. Leading Liberal politicians were in attendance at this high profile event, including former Prime Minister John Howard. 

The event was televised nationally on ABC and other leading news channels. Gregory's performance has been hailed as 'a strong and positive way to launch a political campaign!'

Brisbane Launch goes off with a Bang !!!

Thursday night August 5th saw the Brisbane launch of Gregory's new album I've Dreamed of  You at Brisbane's hottest new  Award Winning Restaurant and Cabaret venue, DRIFT - Cafe Jetty Events, right on the river at Milton.

Photographers from the Sunday Mail and Quest Papers took some fantastic shots of the evening while celebrities, media, family and friends all joined in the festivities enjoying Champagne and Canape's as well as a glorious performance by Gregory himself. 

As with the Sydney launch you never know who might be in the crowd and after  repeated requests from the audience Gregory was joined on stage by local Soprano Suellen Cusack for a crowd pleasing rendition of The Water is Wide.

The evening ended with a handful of guests staying on to enjoy a private dinner overlooking the Brisbane River hosted by Gregory and owner of DRIFT, David Moore. 

Sydney Launch a Big Success !!!

Celebrities and Media came out to play in Sydney Thursday night July 8 for the Official Sydney Launch of Gregory Moore's new album "I've Dreamed of You.  The venue was The Art Lounge on Darlinghurst Road where reveller's were treated to Champagne and Canape's and then Gregory performed some of the songs from his hit new album. 

Members of the hit band Stone Parade were joined by the Mogul's of MGM Distribribution, ABC Radio, DNA, and Sanity Music amongst many others.   A special treat of the evening was an impromptu duet with North American Soprano Suzanne Kompass.  The night was a huge success and speaks volumes of what's to come for Gregory and his new album.

Gregory Moore wows audiences across Australia in Scotland The Brave.

Scotland The Brave 2010 wound up the current leg of its Australian Tour recently in Gregory's hometown of Brisbane.  Having already enthralled audiences across Australia, including the Sydney Opera House, as the star Tenor Soloist in Scotland The Brave Gregory returned to Brisbane to show his hometown audience why he has become one of their all-time favourites. 

Performing 2 shows in the beautifully refurbished Conert Hall at QPAC Gregory  took to the stage with an all star cast including 10 time World Champion Highland Dancer Colleen Rintimaki,  The Victoria Police Pipes Band, Baritone Samuel Dundas, Soprano Suellen Cusack, and North American Soprano Suzanne Kompass, all under the wonderful lead of Conductor Mr. Sean O'Boyle

The show which was a huge hit with audiences everywhere has been recorded by ABC-TV and will available through  all ABC stores later this year.
